Who is this 三世明王 cat ?
The title 三世 , does it mean 3rd generation, 3-time reincarnated,
or "shall rule for 3 generation to come" ?
大威德 (Davidus :-) =David :-) )(just kidding)
And shouldn't we separate the sentence into 3 parts?
E.g. (David) (defeated) ( Goliath) .
(大威德 ) (降) (三世明王)

言归正传。“明王”也者，总觉得有“弥勒”(Maitreya) 的味道。
(“弥勒”代表光明 -- 未来总是光明的。明朝的“明”字，据说
取自于此) 弥勒出世，应是“未来世”(Future Time). 但他这个
把“三世”(过去，现在，未来)全盖了。
咱们望文生义，也就到此了。

三世 and All Time

Since 三世 = (过去，现在，未来), then it is the same
as (All time). And that reminds of something that I have read recently .
Some linguistic purists feel that the use of the phrase "All time" stands for " of all time, and that includes past, present and future" and it should not be used as in the following: " The stock market has reached an all time high"
That, they say is incorrect because the future has not happened yet. The high it reaches today may not be the high that it will reach at some future date.

大威德，在佛教中有时也写成Yamantaka,就是不太明白这个降字。。

可能是说：我佛如来以（大威德）遣（降）过去、现在、未来（三世）孔雀大（明王）菩萨以弘无边甚大之法力
