does it has the same meaning as "in bed with.."(in the sense of in alliance with; working out some scheme in conjuction with; joining forces with; making political alliance with....) E.g. Politics makes strange bed fellows. When you have two politicians joining forces to pass a certain legistation, you can say Mr.A is in (political) bed with Mr. B. Am I close ?
