大家好！
有几个问题请教：
1. We are concerned about the negative impact on small farmers who potentially would be the “losers”.
这是讲在中国入世后对农民影响。small farmers 怎么译为好。小农听上去不怎么对劲，准备译为“小规模经营的农民”，如何？另外，中国哪类农民算是small farmers？
losers不知用什么名词对应好？现在想到的是转动词，译为“遭受损失”。
2. In general, we are favourably disposed to investigating possibilities in all such initiatives.
favourably disposed：积极倾向于…?
3. Our program focuses on social elements of development.
social elements of development：发展的社会要素？And by the way, what are social elements?
4. This project is a combined outgrowth of previous projects.
combined outgrowth：（其它项目）联合衍生出的结果？
5. Mr. Wang is a decided asset to our discussion.
decided asset：绝对有助（讨论的开展）？
6. disadvantaged groups：不利群体？
7. environmental degradation of fragile land：脆弱（？）土地的环境退化
8. We need to reassess how to access all parties concerned and develop a multi-stakeholder approach.
access：利用？
multi-stakeholder approach：多方厉害关系方法？

losers 输家

favourably disposed ： 有意积极(调查研究……)
3. Our program focuses on social elements of development.
social elements of development： “发展的社会要素”没错，但好象有点别扭。可否依意重组为：“我们的发展项目主要着眼于社会要素”？
“Social elements” refers to those elements as distinct from economic, political, cultural, legal, and technological elements. As I see it, it should include such issues as social welfare, literacy/education, urbanization, crime, family formation, and population growth.
4. This project is a combined outgrowth of previous projects.
combined outgrowth 综合产物？
5. Mr. Wang is a decided asset to our discussion.
decided asset： 确实是个宝
6. disadvantaged groups：处境不利的群体
7. environmental degradation of fragile land： 环境变化导致的贫瘠土地土质恶化
8. We need to reassess how to access all parties concerned and develop a multi-stakeholder approach.
access：联系发动？
a multi-stakeholder approach：多家利益方一齐参与的方式？

如果把“losers”转译成动词，可用“吃亏”。

另外，small farmers大概指中国农村家庭联产承包责任制下的农户。

小农的说法很专业。中国传统经济就是小农经济。不然叫贫下中农好了。
