The Building Management Service introduced a new system for elevater use, supposedly to enhance efficiency and reduce waiting time. The notice on the door of elevator A reads: This car services ODD floors only; on the door on elevator B, This car services EVEN floors only.
Some are very good at making fun of seemly no-fun stuff and have changed the wording to read: This car services ODD people only and This car services EVEN you.

tian xin针对原文的妙改妙译，一如既往。北美来了点玄的，令咱晕头转向了；查了字典才知道，那“侪”字念chai2，义“同辈”，相当于英文的peers。得，又长了点学问。真是活到老学到老。谢谢！
px则是直接针对译文的修改，“为您偶用”的确起到了画龙点睛的作用。“偶”字出来了，但并不牵强，自然嵌入句中，更符合语言逻辑。既可意会成“偶数”的“偶”，也可理解为“偶然”的“偶”，而且仍可戏听成“我”。不谢！

每乘电梯看到赫然醒目的最新规定通知时，就犯职业病，总想把经篡改的通知译成中文，可想不出高招，自己译不出，便怀疑是否有可译性，都没敢直接请高手译，当个幽默帖了出来，供大家一笑而已。没想到居然高手林立，妙译横出。我只好再次检讨，实在低估了诸位的才思。对不起。当然，诸君也有一定的责任，总是留一手，让我惊讶，然后检查！
真是译的太妙了，佩服之极！！！！
