The Traditional Chinese Input Method Editor (IME) extends the capabilities of any language version of Windows. With the Traditional Chinese IME, you can input Traditional Chinese text into Web forms and e-mail messages on other language versions of Windows. Note: This is an updated version of Chinese (Traditional) IME.
How to download and install
On the Product Updates page, check the box next to Chinese (Traditional) Input Method Editor. Click the Download button at the top of the page. Follow the on-screen instructions. Windows Update downloads and installs Chinese (Traditional) Input Method Editor. How to use
After you install Chinese (Traditional) IME, Windows displays the Chinese (Traditional) icon on the task bar whenever Internet Explorer is active, or when you click in the body of a message in Outlook or Outlook Express. To use, just click the Chinese (Traditional) IME icon, and start typing.
How to uninstall
To uninstall Chinese (Traditional) Input Method Editor quickly and easily using Windows Update: Go to the Product Updates page. Be sure to click Yes if a message prompt appears. When the Product Updates page appears, click the Show Installed Updates button at the top of the page. Click the Uninstall button to the right of the Chinese (Traditional) Input Method Editor description. To uninstall Chinese (Traditional) Input Method Editor when you are not online:
Click the Start button, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel. Double-click Add/Remove Programs. Select Microsoft Global IME for Chinese (Traditional). Click Add/Remove.
