"foreclose options" 原意可能是指“预先就把各种选择封杀了”。因此,可译为“不留后路”、“不给回旋余地”等,与“leave options open”(留有余地,留条退路)适成对比。
Another tentative version for "foreclose options" would be "破釜沉舟" which is subject to your endorsement.

古月的解释完全正确。 Foreclose 一词一般词典都只列其与银行业有关的最常用意思,即“取消赎回权”, 却不列另一重要意思:prevent。 估计因此才令人产生疑惑。其实第二种意思极常用,但一般只出现在教正式的文体。
从两处摘录释文,供大家参考:
The Concise Oxford Dictionary (1990):
Fore close: ... 2. exclude, prevent. 3. shut out, bar.
Cambridge International Dictionary of English(1995):
Foreclose = prevent. Rather formal. To prevent (sth.)from being considered as a possibility in the future.
*The president said he had not entirely foreclosed the possibility of a military solution.
*The leader's aggressive atance seems to have foreclosed any chance of diplomatic compromise.
“完全排除。。。可能性”、“把路堵死”,视情况都说得通。
