读书评译（２）
李熬《笑傲五十年》（中国友谊出版社，１９９９）中《特立独行
的美国报人》一文有这样的话（见该书２８５页）：
就因为这种作对，他（引者注：指Isidor Feinstein Stone）得罪
了太多的人，使他不是白宫国宴席上的来宾、使他不是名流俱乐部
的会员、使他不是电视排行榜上的要角。（He was never a
guest at a White House state dinner. He didn't belong to
the Gridiron Club. And he wasn't on television panels.）
评：显然，李熬将panel（电视讨论）错译为“电视排行榜”了。
