"Bridges over Troubled Water" was written in 1969 by Paul Simon. The version that we usually hear is a duet by himself
and Art Garfunkel, his childhood friend and early-years collaborator. Simon's other works include the very famous and
beautifully written songs like "The Sound of Silence" (1964), "Scarborough Fair" (1966)(The latter was in fact adapted
from a Scottish folk song. Both songs appeared in the 1967 film "Graduate" 毕业生, which stars Dustin Hoffman), "The
Boxer" (1968), etc. Many of his early works were very popular during the Anti-War Movement in US in the '60s, as
they are now.
Trivia: Paul Simon was awarded the Honorary Degree of Doctor of Music by Yale University in 1996 for he had
"remained one of this country's most prominent singer-songwriters for more than three decades."

Interesting association. However, 于无声处 would remind people of 听惊雷 (maybe it's only me?).
How about 寂静之声?
By the way, the first word in my last message should be "Bridge" instead of "Bridges". Sorry.
