读书评译（２０）：“反登陆”
时报今天在《世界军事论坛》转述《中国时报》的报道《陈水扁受明镜周刊专访差点出状况》（见http://www.wforum.com/home/wmfmain.html）肩明镜周刊》记者用英文问陈水扁，“如果大陆对台发动攻击时，台湾会怎么因应”。陈水扁回答“制空、制海、反登陆”。英文翻译将中文“反登陆”译为英文counterlanding。因为counterlanding（反登陆）与counter-landing（反制登陆）发音一样，记者误解为“大陆打过来，我们就要以登陆中国回击”。后来，苏正平跟记者进餐时发现这个误译，才向记者解释。记者觉得不是新东西，没有报道价值，就没有把这段登出来。
评：英文counterlanding是形容词，后边一般有被修饰语，如counterlanding tactics（反登陆战术）、counterlanding weapon（反登陆武器）等。而counter-landing是名词，即“以登陆的方式对付对方的登陆／进攻”，也就是报道中的“反制登陆”。如果英文翻译把counterlanding跟“制空、制海”并列在一起，说成 air supremacy，sea supremacy，counterlanding，那么，听英文的人就会认为counter-landing是名词“反制登陆”。由于这段翻译没有见报，我们无从知晓当时的英文翻译。另外，不知大陆有没有“反制登陆”的说法。

所以以counter为字首的单词大都有“repond to (sb/sth) with an opposing view,direction or effect. 也甚至暗含有"with a corresponding way"的意思.
例如：COUNTERCLAIM:an opposing claim, a claim brought by defendant against the original claim.
COUNTERCULTURE: a culture with values and mores that run counter to those of established society
COUNTERCURRENT: a current flowing in a direciton opposite that of another current.
COUNTERPLAN: a plan designed to counter another plan.
还有很多如counteraccusation(反控，控诉原来的控方。而不只是仅对自己遭到的控诉辩护), counterargument(以argument驳argument), counterattack(以攻击来反攻击)
所以窃认为"counterlanding weapon"还是“反制登陆武器”的意思。正如我们说“反坦克武器”是“antitank weapon”而不是"countertank weapon"
陈水扁所言的“反登陆”，其中的“反”字，实际的意思是“防止”,这是"counter-"所不能表达的。是否可用“antilanding"呢？“anti-"正有preventing的意思。
以上拙见，望指教。

counterlanding可作名词使用，意指“反登陆”（该词大陆亦用）。

“反登陆”的形容词是antiamphibious（水里怎能踢球？）

用antiamphibious表示“反／抗登陆”，就不会有歧义了。

counterlanding: (名词、定语均可) 指敌方登陆/空降后，我方在同一地区登陆/空降的作战。
(并非到敌方战线后登陆)。典型战例：二战时美日在太平洋岛屿的争夺战。某一岛屿被美军
登陆占领后，日方再进行登陆争夺。中文称“反登陆作战”。
antilanding: (定语) 指对敌方登陆/空降的防御措施、武器、行动等。如 antilanding mine,
antilanding operation, etc. 中文亦称“反登陆”。陈水扁说的“反登陆”应该是这个意思。
counterlanding 是战时的机动战术，战前不可能预测，应是误译。但如理解为到大陆“登陆”，
就骇人听闻了。
antiamphibious: (定语) 反两栖登陆，后面一般跟有 landing 一词. 两栖登陆，一般指从海上
以登陆艇方式登陆。不包括空降方式。
如果“反登陆”是全方位的或含糊的，antilanding 较佳；如果特指两栖登陆，则可用 antiamphibious.
