三、虽然国内不少有本事的英语教师，可也很多不学无术者，要防着点。很多人虽受所谓的英国英语训练，说得英语并不好，却自称是在教授英国英语。就有这种人，学生面前羞于承认自己的不足，在美式英语较时髦的今天，竟然把错的当成“美语”来传授，误人不浅。这些年在北美遇过不少国内英语专业的毕业生，北方南方都有，英语说得算流利，但漏洞太多。举个最不堪容忍的例子：问：从何处来？ 答：Chiner。 问：为何而来？ 答： Becourse I 。。。 他们以为说的是美国英语呢， 老师说把舌头卷起来说就成！
四、 Sharpen your ear, increase your sensitivity to the slightest differences in sound, in tone, in pitch, in everything you hear. The more you could feel the differences, the more you could appreciate the beauty of each variety of English, and you would not feel sorry even if someday you find youself speaking perfect Scottish English!
