前几天一时想出几个有趣的中英文谜语,在此录下,
以供大家一笑.
Warning: PG18 to entre :-)
谜面(英文) 猜(中文)
(1) High price call girl. (7 words phrase)
(2) Rip Van Winkle's experience. ( 5 words couplet)
(3)The last temptation of Sakamuri (Name of a Chinese food)
(4) Tax refund. (7 words phrase.)
(5) Chemotherapy. (4 words idiom)
(6) Tempenyaki(铁板烧)
cook working with ropes. (5 words idiom)
(7) Little blue pills for Confucious ( saying attributed
to Confucious)
Most of them are straight forward, a couple may be a bit convoluted.

You are right. As in many riddles of this type, there could be several possible solutions.

You could be right about "just anything will do".
The trick is to figure out what the riddler had in mind to start with.
I was not trying to be too convoluted. I thought these up at a moment
of "inspiration" , ha ha. So you may not agree with my 谜底 . Anyway, I
put them up just for fun, hope you people didn't mind.
(It's 1 am here. Technically it's already "tomorrow", so here is the
谜底 )
(1)春宵一刻值千金
(2)山中方一日,世上几千年.
(3) 佛跳墙. (This delicacy is supposed to be so good that the Buddha jumps over
the wall to get to the feast.)
(4) 羊毛出在羊身上.
(5) 以毒攻毒.
(6) 快刀斩乱麻 (I was thinking about the way these guys chop up the meat on
the metal cooking table.)
(7) 吾老矣 ,无能为力矣 . (I said this was attributed to Confucious, I don't know whether he
really said that. )
