先从 Webster's Third New International Dictionary 所给有关定义开始讨论(当然只取与主题有关的,其它定义略)。
assets (资产): the seiries of items on a balance sheet representing the book values at a given date of resources, rights, or items of property owned grouped under appropriate headings according to their nature. Hence CAPITAL ASSETS(固定资产), CASH ASSETS(现金资产)……也就是以簿记表示的各种有形和无形财产。或者说是帐面资产额。
equity(股权):a risk interest or ownership right in property. 以股权或股份表示的产权。
property(财产):1) sth. that is or may be owned or possessed; 2) sth. to which a person has a legal title: an estate in tangible assets (as lands, goods, money) or intangible rights (as copy rights, patents) in which or to which a person has a right protected by law. 也就是指有形的财产和无形的财产,如版权、专利等。
But terms are just terms which are subject to definition. What we call "junk food"(垃圾食品)is not actually "junks" but "food" after all. So you give the concept a term first and then you define it in the way you did a while ago.
