In general term and as the word itself indicate, stakeholders are those people who have a stake in the subject or event and therefore has a wider coverage than shareholder. In the economic field, stakeholders of, say, an infrastructure project could be government agencies that approve the project, people who invest in the project, banks that lend money to the project, users who are beneficiaries of the project, communities hosting the project .... 目前用利益悠关者教多,当然可以找到更好的。

Shareholders refer only to those who hold common or prefer shares in an incoporated company. Stakeholder is anyone who has a financial interest in the company (whether incoporated or not). This includes shareholders, bondholders, partners, limit partners etc... ds
