Milan Kundera的小说、中文译成“生活在别处”的，英译题目就是Life is elsewhere。不知您说的是不是
这回事。语法问题我自己还等着上隐士老师的课呢，所以就跳过去啦。抱歉。:-)

用副词作标题的，英文里是常有的事……

语法书上没有专说英文标题的，不过，据我所知，英文标题不似中文标题，自由度比较大。用副词作标题的，已是司空见惯的了。
如：Just Like a Woman by BY DIANNE HALES和鹤子提到的Life is elsewhere便是。
据不佞所知，elsewhere似乎没有相应的名词？
不过，您这句“because it is adv”中的adv倒是个名词，应该说“because it is an adv.”同样，“as a title of paper”中的“paper”也应该有个“an”或“my/his/her”才是。这已经是题外话了。
