I hope Your Majesty is not going to close the theatre for the oncoming summer season:)
But but my authority was the Oxford English Dictionary and besides, my great name (I mean Mrs Shakespeare), a great coiner of neologism, within Your Majesty's great realm of course:)

which edition of the OED you have consulted. Should it indeed contain the two monstrosities in question, We would have no choice but order it proscribed.
Hi, Was it you that mentioned this quote about "close your eyes etc.. and think of England." quite sometime ago. I just saw it flashed across the screen on TV* a couple of hours ago. It went by so fast that I think I could be certain if I read it right. I think I saw that it was attributed to Queen Victoria. Is that right ?
(* The Learning Channel was advertizing a program about human sexual relationships at different times in different parts of the world. Different quotes floated across the screen during the blitz and this "think of England" quote was one of them. I remember seeing it posted by you sometime ago. At that time I thought it was an Aussie joke.)
