“There're books and books”....

or “there're friends and friends”. How do one best translate this kind of sentences? Should the translater each time add the appropriate implicit adjectives, like “there're good books and bad books”, “there're thick books and thin books”, “there're highly theoretical books and there're easy-to-read books”etc.? Or is there a equivalent/similar construction in Chinese?
