Help!!
Who could provide information about English writing samples by Chinese
students. I am doing research on how the rhetoric changes when Chinese students
write English comparing with their Chinese writing. Any kind of information,
such as web sites, book titles, are greatly appreciated. Thanks.

theorectical frame work for such research. As to data, you can collect in China or in other coutnries where Chinese students are learning English. Nowadays there are so many English writings done by Chinese that it is easy to find from internet too.

Thank you very much, Laoliu. I actually read Kaplan's book(s) a long time ago; but
I would rather do this research in a little bit detail, not just a "frame". You mentioned
that there are some web sites where we can find English compositions written by Chinese. If
you could tell me the sites, that will be so helpful to me.
Best regards

Your own writing is a very good sample already. What a hoax!

What hoax?

You mean Tiffany is a fake name? That's hardly a crime: most of us use pseudonyms here. Or she (I would presume it's a she) doesn't really have a project, and she posted the message because she was like, “吃饱了撑的”?

(i) Nobody said a hoax is a crime; (ii) Judging from his writing,

he's apparently trying to bite off
more than he can chew. It could be
a big joke anyway even if you don't
want to call it an intentional hoax.

Take it easy, man!

I don't think he (she) is chewing what he can't. If a cake is too big for you, you can just
have a bite instead of taking it all. Maybe he hasn't realized how big the cake is.

Don't you think it's just an opinion? Yours, too! Take it easy, mdm?
