确实去看过那篇文章，但因为挺长所以看得很匆忙。窃意以为没什么，就是讨论科学问题，很正常。
说到“激进”，想起我有位极爱开玩笑的L教授给我们传授的“L氏第一定律”：“别怕呆在潮流的尾
巴上，站在原地别动，只要你撑得住，不久就会发现自己又处在潮头上了。”这也是我读那篇文章时
时的一点联想。
等着读贤兄译文！(小老师，今天姑且放您一马:-)))

Winston taste good as a cigarette should.... An ancedote

Many years ago the tobacco company that produced Winston Cigarettes
ran an ad on billboards and magazines that read
"Winston taste good like a cigarette should."
The company received complaints from English teachers, grammarian and
what nots that the correct way should have been " ... as a cigarette should."
The ad agency found a cleaver way to turn this around to
their own advantage. Shortly after the complaints, they
ran new ads that went like this:
"Do you want good grammar or good taste ?
Winston taste good like a cigarette should."
I don't remember whether or not that they did run a new ad that
said "Winston taste good as a cigarette should."
